Stockholm
Uniqueness of the city of Stockholm is already well-established since the beginning of construction. History of Stockholm started from the fort built by the ruler of the Kingdom of Sweden, Birger Jarl in the 13th century. Stockholm at that time not yet become an important area of trade in the region of Northern Europe. The new Stockholm city developed into an important port city in the Scandinavian region since King Gustav Adolphus made Stockholm the Swedish capital in the 17th century. Since then Stockholm develop as a modern city with unique characteristics not forget his past.
