Southern Gothenburg Archipelago
Southern Gothenburg archipelago located off the coast of Gothenburg and completely free of cars. The archipelago has 5,000 permanent residents and 6,000 residents in the summer.
In Norse saga, these islands are called Elfarsker ("river island"), in which the mouth of the river Gota Alv been there. The islands are very famous as a location for the duel in the Viking era.
There are some beautiful islands for water play atupun visiting Southern Gothenburg Archipelago is but the most popular is Aspero, Styrso and Vrango. You can also enjoy a boat tour around the area.
