Sainte-Chapelle


Sainte-Chapelle (Holy  Chapel) is established by King Louis  IX and is located on the Île de la Cité. The cathedral is designed for home and inheritance of the crown.
Some relics including the Crown of Thorns, King  Loius IX purchased from the Byzantine emperors. Now the Crown of Thorns recorded in  Notre-Dame  Cathedral, which is located very close to the Sainte-Chapelle church.

Gothic church has more than 1000 beautiful stained glass paintings depict religious scenes. Revelation describes the rose window and the chapel windows depict scenes from the Old Testament and the overall Baru.Secara stained glass paintings cover an area of ??600 square meters (6458 sq ft) and a large percentage of them are original paintings of the 13th century. The chapel reserved for the royal family while the lower chapel is for the masses. Below the chapel dedicated to the Virgin Maria.Puncak Sainte-Chapelle tower is 74 meters (245ft) and rebuilt four times.
